Disclosure: I received a Target gift card to purchase LISTERINE® Brand products from Johnson & Johnson Healthcare Products Division of McNEIL-PPC, Inc. and The Motherhood as part of my participation in the LISTERINE® 21-Day Challenge. All thoughts and opinions expressed in this post are my own.

This year, I have made a decision to be healthier. So I’ve signed up for a Disney Fun Run (more info. about that later), I have a gym membership (I just need to start going) and now I am taking the Listerine 21-Day Challenge because oral health is also very important.

I’ll be using the following products to complete my challenge:

Listerine 21-Day Challenge

  • LISTERINE® Antiseptic
  • LISTERINE® SMART RINSE®
  • LISTERINE® WHITENING® Original Gel Fluoride Anticavity Toothpaste
  • REACH® Floss

So If you’re considering doing the Listerine 21-Day Challenge with me (which I think you should), you’ll need those items.  I headed on over to Target to buy the items I needed, so you can check them out as well.

I’m both excited and nervous about doing the Listerine 21-Day Challenge. I’m excited because I want to improve my oral health and I’m nervous because it involves me brushing, flossing and rinsing with LISTERINE® Antiseptic twice a day for 21 days. Brushing my teeth in the morning and before bed isn’t a concern for me (I do that now), it’s all the the stuff I’ll need to do that has me concerned about following through, especially flossing. My dentist has been urging me to floss for a while now and I just can’t get into the habit of doing it the right way.  But I’ve got to start somewhere and hopefully by posting it, it will keep me accountable.

Now to actually get it started…..

If you’re still not totally convinced about doing the Listerine 21-Day Challenge with me, what if I told you that you’d also be helping children in need, by posting your own “Swish Selfies” to LISTERINE® Brand’s Facebook page.  For every person who posts a “Swish Selfie” to LISTERINE® Brand’s Facebook page, LISTERINE® Brand will make a $5.00 contribution to Oral Health America’s Smiles Across America® program, up to $85,000, toward their goal of connecting 210,000 children with needed oral health services in 2014.

So what do you say?  Will you be doing the Listerine 21-Day Challenge with me?????  Not only will you be improving your own oral care but you’ll also helping people in need.  It’s a WIN WIN.
