Take Your Child To Work Day meant not having to get the kids ready for school, packing their lunches, driving them to school or picking them up BUT it did mean the kiddos got to experience a little bit of what I do as a blogger (Yes, blogging is a profession). I say a little bit because there is so much that goes into what we as bloggers do: attending events, trying products, creating posts, taking pictures, editing pictures, creating videos, editing videos, answering emails and so much more!
Just having them work on this post seemed to wear them out BUT they were also excited about writing this (at least my son was until 5 minutes into it but my daughter stayed the course) and I am extremely proud. Here’s what my kiddos had to say about my job as a blogger (although it was mostly my 8 year old daughter who wrote this).
Enjoy…
Today is take your child to work day. We are working at home with our mother who’s a blogger for TeachMe2Save.com. We are writing a post and doing a video about what we think a blogger does for a living.
What does a Blogger do?
We think a blogger writes posts about food, interviews, travel, recipes and stories about their life on a blog so that people can know about what they do so they can do the same thing as them.
Do you think being a blogger is easy? fun? Hard? Why?
I think it is hard to be a blogger because you have to try to get stuff for your family and I think it is fun to be a blogger because you go on a lot of adventures.
What do you think is most interesting about being a blogger?
You get to travel around the world and meet people.
What do children of bloggers do?
We try out new stuff like toys, movies ,travel stuff and more.
What do you want to be when you grow up?
I want to be a Chef, Hairstylist ,Teacher and BLOGGER when i grow up!
Check out their thoughts on video as well…

At least there wasn’t any school on this day. Do you travel around the world? I want to be a blogger to do that.
Thanks to blogging I have been able to travel…I love it 🙂
