I think that the winter automatically brings germ season around. No matter where I turn I’m always subjected to some sort of bug, virus, or bacteria. There are 3 ways to fight off germs I do in the winter and sometimes year round to help combat all of these dangerous germs floating around.

3 Ways To Fight Off Germs

Wash your hands

If I think I’ve come into contact with any type of germs I always wash my hands. I honestly don’t take any chances when it comes to this part of life. If I use the bathroom, help someone else, or I cough or sneeze, you can bet that I’ll be washing my hands.

Sanitize everything!

After dinner and several times throughout the day I sanitize door knobs, tables, and the bathroom. Germs spread rapidly and it’s important that the germs are killed on the spot.

Use an air purifier

Keep in mind that I don’t just use any air purifier, I use a specific mold and germ destroying air purifier. The Mold and Germ Destroying Air Purifier that I use is from Hammacher Schlemmer. Here are some other reasons I love it:

  • This is the air purifier that eliminates up to 99.9% of airborne bacteria, mold, viruses, pet dander, dust mite allergens, and pollen without making a sound.
  • With no filter to replace or clean, the device uses natural convection to silently draw airborne impurities into its patented ceramic heating chamber that instantly destroys the microorganisms with 400º F heat and then releases the clean air into the room.
  • An independent laboratory confirmed that the unit destroyed up to 99.99% of bacteria and mold regardless of the microorganism’s size or level of hazardousness.
  • The sanitized air is cooled and recirculated into the room, providing a healthier breathing environment without producing ozone or requiring you to clean or replace a costly filter.

I love the fact that washing my hands, sanitizing, and using a mold and germ destroying air purifier helps to make family and myself a lot healthier. Of course, we can’t always escape sickness but we’ve avoided lots of contagious germs this way.
