Holiday road trips with the family are stress free and fun!!! O.K., I Just wanted to make sure that you were paying attention. While it is nice to be able to get away for the Holidays, when traveling by car (especially with kids) there are a few factors to consider: Will everyone be comfortable? Will every thing fit? How will you keep the kids entertained? The list goes on…

While at the Miami International Auto Show with my hubby and 2 of our friends, Jay & Susie a few weeks ago, we were able to check out the New NISSAN Pathfinder. By the looks of it, I get the feeling a road trip in that baby would ease some of the holiday travel stress.

The Nissan 2013 Pathfinder offers 3 rows and can accommodate 7 people. Normally 3rd rows and traveling with a car seat would be a nuisance BUT with Nissan’s LATCH AND GLIDEâ„¢, the 3rd row is easily accessible because the whole seat glides forward – car seat and all. So it stays right as it is which is really convenient, especially with pit stops involved with traveling.

Not to mention that the Nissan 2013 Pathfinder also offers a Navigation and Tri-Zone Entertainment System which keeps the kiddos entertained while you get to listen to what YOU want. That means that you aren’t hearing the same thing 20 times. I guess now you can leave the ear plugs at home (well maybe pack them just in case there is another situation you may need them for…with kids you never know).

Another cool feature worth mentioning was its Around View® Monitor that allows you to see the surrounding areas of your car including in the front and on the sides (most cars usually only have a rear monitor). It uses four cameras and creates a composite image of the Pathfinder from above and displays it on the touch-screen monitor.

With features like these, you can see that they really thought about the needs and wants of moms!
