My husband was out of the country on a mission trip with our church and while he was gone it allowed for lots of snuggle time with my kids. With all that extra space on my king size bed my kiddos and I had plenty of snuggle room. We watched TV and enjoyed some quality time together, it was so nice.

The hard part about Snuggle Time With My Kids is keeping them from getting rowdy. It seems that after some time they get tired of sitting still and one of them initiates some form of horse play. Then, snuggle time becomes play time and in most cases one of us ends up hurt.  I, unfortunately, have been one of their victims.  I have been jumped on, hit on the head, had my finger bent back (it still hurts til this day), poked in the eye, kicked and more.

Despite my numerous injuries, snuggle time with my kids is very precious to me because my kiddos are growing up so fast. Pretty soon they will no longer want to snuggle with me and just the thought of it makes me sad. Why must they grow up so fast?

I also love snuggle time with my kids because our family is always doing something (which I am in no way complaining about) but sometimes it is nice to just be able to relax at home and spend time with my babies.

So, anytime they say “Let’s Snuggle” (Actually my son says “Let’s Nuggle” which is too cute!) I am all for it! After all, I need to enjoy snuggle time with my kids while I still can.
