I am not sure what it is with me and shoe/sandal issues but…



While at my dad’s office I felt something snap on my sandal and sure enough the side strap broke. The sandal breaking is no biggie because that’s what cheap sandals do. I am annoyed with myself because I don’t have an extra pair of sandals in my car to replace them with and with the shoe mishaps I have had, I should know better. Let me elaborate:

  1. I once had to pick up my daughter from school in orange salon flip-flops
  2. My sandals once broke while I was picking up my son from school.

You can Read about both of those times by clicking Here. However, the last time it happened it wasn’t as bad because I had flip-flops in the car that I was able use. Apparently I never put them back in the car (which is exactly why I purchased those particular flip-flops), I guess that would have been too easy for me to do!

Luckily it was the side strap (and not the piece right in the middle) so that I am able to drag my foot as I walk throughout the office (Imagine that craziness).  Let’s see if I can remember to put the flip-flops back in the car because at this rate it is bound to happen again.
