Phineas and Ferb The Movie: Candace Against The Universe will you make you laugh and remind you why you loved the show so much.

Phineas and Ferb Cast

Phineas and Ferb has always been a family favorite in our home. It was the kind of show that made me laugh, I didn’t have to worry about the kids watching and that I didn’t mind re-watching the same episode over and over again (which you know tends to happen when you have younger children). So, when the show came to an end, it was missed. That being said, you can imagine how happy we were when we found there was a new movie for us to enjoy as a family, Phineas and Ferb The Movie: Candace Against The Universe.

Thankfully all that we loved about the original series was in this movie. It was funny, creative and brings about some closure while still leaving it up to future projects. Picking up where they left off, Candace is still trying to bust her brothers but when things don’t go as planned and Candace ends up being abducted by aliens and Phineas and Ferb need to come to the rescue! Through a series of adventures (that lead to a lot of laughter), Candace has some breakthroughs and the dynamic of their relationship shifts. I love that they brought back the original cast to play these roles…it wouldn’t have been the same without them.

Is it appropriate for the kiddos? Absolutely!!!! Like their TV episodes, there was nothing inappropriate for the kiddos. Even the jokes that may go over the kiddos heads weren’t offensive or lined with innuendos. Actually there may be some really good conversation…brotherly relationships, what creative things they would invent or maybe even the importance of friendship. All in all, Phineas and Ferb The Movie: Candace Against The Universe is a great film the entire family will enjoy.
