As I have mentioned before my son is fascinated with super heroes. I remember a time when he would tell us which super hero he was that day (because every day it was a new one) and while that phase has passed he still views himself as a super hero.
So much so that the other day we got home from picking him up from school and when we got out of the car he asked me to help him carry his back pack and then the following conversation ensued:
Me: “Papo, why can’t you carry your back pack”
Him: “Because it’s too heavy”
Me: “But you’re strong”
Him: “No. I’m the Flash, not the Hulk. The Hulk is Strong”
What could I say…all I could do was laugh and help him with his backpack, of course.
I love that kid the Flash!
