I have always been a big fan of Chick-fil-A , oh how I love their milk shakes and fries, but when it comes to food, I am pretty boring so I tend to stick with what I know which means I get their 8 count nuggets, waffle fries and a small Vanilla shake with no whipped cream or cherry and I am good to go! But there are obviously some other great items on their menu like their chocolate chip cookies, which are so delicious that I had to go back and get some the other day AND they also have some newer items on the menu like their new salads (Market Salad, Cobb Salad and Asian Salad).
Last Friday, some of my friends and I went on over to the Chick-fil-A in Miramar for a Chick-fil-A Salad Tasting Party where we got to try the Market Salad, Cobb Salad AND Asian Salad (yes, we left full). Disclosure: While my friends and I were invited to attend this tasting party ALL opinions are my own!
I have included the ingredients to each of the salads below but keep in mind that you can request them the way you want.
Market Salad
Grilled and sliced chicken breast served on a fresh bed of chopped Romaine lettuce and baby greens, topped with shredded red cabbage and carrots, crumbled blue cheese and a mix of red and green apples, strawberries and blueberries. Served with harvest nuts granola, roasted nuts blends in packages on the side. Recommended dressing: Apple Cider Vinaigrette (but you can choose another one if you’d like)
*I liked this salad but if I were to order it again, I would it with Chick-fil-A nuggets and I would take out the crumbled blue cheese & blueberries
Cobb Salad
Chick-fil-A nuggets, sliced and served on a fresh bed of chopped Romaine lettuce and baby greens, topped with shredded red cabbage and carrots, roasted corn kernels, a blend of shredded Monterey Jack and cheddar cheeses, crumbled bacon, diced eggs and grape tomatoes. Served with Charred Tomato Crispy Red Bell Peppers (on the side in individual packages). Recommended dressing: Avocado Lime Ranch dressing (but you can choose another one if you’d like).
*This was my favorite salad! I loved all of the ingredients and the way it blended together so well (except for red cabbage but it didn’t bother me). I opted to eat it with Reduced Fat Berry Balsamic Vinaigrette dressing.
Asian Salad
Chick-fil-A nuggets, sliced and serve on a fresh bed of chopped Romaine lettuce and baby greens, topped with shredded red and green cabbage, carrots and mandarin orange segments. Served with Honey Thai Almonds, Chinese Garlic and Ginger Wontons in packages on the side. Recommended dressing: Honey Sesame dressing (but you can choose another one if you’d like).
* I liked this one as well but the Cobb Salad was still my favorite. I skipped the Honey Thai Almonds but I did put the Chinese garlic and ginger wontons on it and I liked the crunchiness it added to the salad. I opted to eat the Asian Salad with Reduced Fat Berry Balsamic Vinaigrette dressing as well.

Not only did we get to chat and have a great time while eating delicious food but we also got to take a tour of the kitchen and as you can see they gave us fancy clothing to do so.
It is a well run machine in the kitchen. We saw where they made the salads 4 at a time to keep them as fresh as possible. They have 2 areas for preparing food, 1 for raw food and one for prepared food so that there is no cross contamination. They also have a really cool chicken cutter they use for the Chick-fil-A nuggets they put in the salads (I would love one of those for cutting my kids chicken at home!)
At the end of the night we enjoyed Mini Sundae (even though I opted for just vanilla ice cream) but someone at the table bought their chocolate chip cookies and oh my goodness they are absolutely delicious!!!!!!! I am craving a cookie (or two) right now!
My friends and I had a blast at Chick-fil-A and truly enjoyed the food. Be sure to check out their new salads and if you have been really good, get a chocolate chip cookie too!
