It pains me to say this but I’ve Fallen Off The Disney Fun Run Training Wagon BUT it wasn’t by choice! I was doing really good but traveling for a week and then being sick caused me to fall off the Disney Fun Run Training Wagon.
I was doing good. Actually, week 2 of my C25K – 5K Trainer Free program went really well. I was shocked by how committed I was to training. It was weird because no matter how bad I felt or how tired I was, I would still go running. It somehow helped me feel better. I’m not saying that I woke up each morning counting the minutes until my run but it was something that I wanted to do.
On week 3, I was still motivated but I gotta say that when they switched it up and had me doing (2) 3 minute jogging intervals, I realized how out of shape I was. I didn’t think I would survive it. How sad is that? But I did.
Next up was week 4 but then I traveled to LA for a week and 2 days after I got back home I had strep throat. So that’s 2 weeks of no training for me and the Disney Fun Run is in about 3 weeks so I am hoping to run today.
Wish me luck!
