Although I received a Target gift card to purchase LISTERINE® Brand products from Johnson & Johnson Healthcare Products Division of McNEIL-PPC, Inc. and The Motherhood as part of my participation in the LISTERINE® 21-Day Challenge, All thoughts and opinions expressed in this post are my own.

Listerine 21-Day Challenge

My Listerine 21-Day Challenge is complete! I can’t believe that it has been 21 days already.

As I mentioned in a previous post, I set out to complete the Listerine 21-Day Challenge. After completing it, I am happy to share that my mouth feels cleaner and my teeth are a bit whiter. Plus, by doing this I have created a routine that is highly beneficial for my an oral hygiene.

Like anything else, creating a habit takes time and consistency. I will say that it helps if you keep all of the products out where you can see them and grouped together as a reminder.

Brushing my teeth and rinsing with LISTERINE® Antiseptic in the morning and in the evening wasn’t a problem for me…I struggled with flossing. Flossing is difficult for me because it feels like I am doing it wrong and it can be time consuming BUT I know that ultimately it is worth it.

Now that I have gotten into the habit, I will be working on doing the same for my children. Hopefully, by them seeing me do it daily they will be motivated to do it as well. It’s important to get them doing it sooner than later, especially since my daughter now has a few adult teeth.

Did you do the Listerine 21-Day Challenge with me? If so, how did it go?

Don’t forget that you can help children in need, by completing the Listerine 21-Day Challenge and posting your own “Swish Selfies” to the LISTERINE® Brand’s Facebook page. When you do, LISTERINE® Brand will make a $5.00 contribution to Oral Health America’s Smiles Across America® program for every person who posts a “Swish Selfie” to the LISTERINE® Brand’s Facebook page (up to $85,000). Their goal is to connect 210,000 children with needed oral health services in 2014.
