Iron Man 3 Review

Since the moment we knew Iron Man 3 was in the works we have been anxiously awaiting it in theaters (and today is the day…whoohoo!!!). After all, we all love Super Heroes in our home and we have seen every movie… and because we’ve seen the Iron Man movies so many times, there was no need to catch up on Iron Man & Iron Man 2.

This is by far the best Iron Man Movie out of the 3 of them, I loved it! Although my dad did wish there was more action, I thought it had a nice mix of action, comedy and just the right amount of romance to keep us  ladies happy but not kill it for the men.

I don’t want to say to much because I don’t want to ruin Iron Man 3 for you but if you have the seen the trailer you get the idea that Tony Stark (played by Robert Downey Jr.) is attacked in such a way that forces him to think on his feet and not depend on the Iron Man Suit. It was a great reminder  that Tony Stark is Iron Man and it’s not because of the suit.

In this movie you get to see the various sides of Tony Stark.  He’s smart, funny, loyal, caring and how despite being Iron Man he is is a person with issues (especially since the incident in New York with The Avengers…love how they tied in that film).  We also get to see Pepper’s character in a different light (and that’s all I say).  The movie is very entertaining and it really did have me cracking up.

Every child is different but I think some parts might be to much for the younger kiddos.  My daughter is 6 and I’d let her watch it if she was 8 (or if she could handle it).  However, my dad has a 7 year old son (that’s a whole other post…LOL) and he would let him watch it which just goes to show that you know your child best and what they can handle.

Disclosure: A guest and I were invited to attend a pre-screening of Iron Man 3 in order to facilitate my review.  I loved this movie and I hope that is evident in this post and I wasn’t forced to love it, I just did. ALL opinions are my own!
