The last time we went to the Nickelodeon Suites Resort about 2 years ago my kiddos LOVED it, so much so that they have been asking to go back ever since. So when I found out that we had the chance to go there for a weekend I didn’t tell them until we were leaving that morning because they would be asking me if we were going every day. Check out the video of their reaction (but I must warn you that their scream at the end is a bit loud BUT it goes to show how excited they were about it.
There is so much to do there that if you wanted to skip the amusement park, you and your family would still have a great time with all that the resort has to offer. They have 2 pools, water slides, a splash area, pool table, hot tubs, basketball, 4-D movies, meet and greets with various Nickelodeon characters, character breakfast and so much more!!!!!
As soon as we walked into the room, the kids were excited by their bunk beds and I liked the privacy of a bedroom (especially when you have extra people staying in the room with you).
The kids wasted no time in wanting to go check out the pool and water slides so off we went. The pool is ginormous (is that even a word?) and there are about 5 or 6 water slides for the kiddos to enjoy…actually the adults get to enjoy them as well, I know I did. I even got to spend some time in the hot tub which I love, the kiddos were with me but I was still able to relax…LOL.
While you are at the pool, be sure to be around when they do the massive sliming. My daughter didn’t want to do it the last time but there was no way that she was missing it this time.
One of the benefits of staying at the Nickelodeon Suites Resort is that you get to meet some of our kiddos favorite characters. My son was over the moon when he got to meet The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. While we were in line to meet them, my husband spotted a kid with a mask so my husband went on the hunt for a blue one. I somehow convinced him to buy us each one for the photo and being the good sport that he is, we took this great pic with The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
We also enjoyed a character breakfast (post to come soon) and we watched all of the 4-D Movies they had showing (except for 1). The films are short enough to keep their attention but very entertaining. Be prepared to get wet, don’t say I didn’t warn you.
There is even a Kid’s Spa!
If you are in Orlando, you should definitely stay at the Nickelodeon Suites Resort at least once because you and your entire family will have a blast and create some incredible memories. I know we did. We had a blast and yes my kids are already asking to go back.
