In honor of the Halloween, I wanted to share UNICEF’s annual Trick-or-Treat with you all (I only wish I would have had the chance to post it sooner) but it’s never too late to help. While you are out and about trik-or-treating you can do more than get that yummy candy, you can collect money to help children all over the world. Here is some information about Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF and the amazing things they do
- It helps kids become active global citizens by teaching them to help others by encouraging them to help raise funds for their peers in developing countries by going door-to-door on Halloween night or by participating in other festive fundraising activities.
- It is one of the longest-running youth volunteer initiatives in America, 62 years.
- Over $167 million has been raised and they have been able to provide children in 190 countries and territories health care and immunizations, clean water and sanitation, nutrition, education, emergency relief and more.
