Celebrate Dr. Seuss’ Birthday & Read Across America

In honor of Dr. Seuss’ birthday & Read Across America let’s have some wacky fun Dr. Seuss style by reading Bartholomew and the Oobleck and making our very own Oobleck.

What You Need:

  • corn starch
  • water
  • measuring cup
  • bowl
  • green food color (optional)

What You Need To Do:

  1. Pour 2 cups corn starch into your bowl
  2. Pour 1 cup of water into your bowl – little by little, you may not need the entire cup.
  3. Add food coloring if desired – a few drops is all you need. (hands will be stained but it does come off after a few hand washes!)
  4. Mix slightly
  5. PLAY!

Note: You will be able to scoop it, but it will run right through your fingertips.

Have FUN!

I’ll have some more fun, frugal & easy experiments next week…… stay tuned! Until next time….
