I’m sharing #Buy2Get2 as part of a Skittles and Dollar General Sponsored Series for Socialstars.
The world’s favorite superheroes are taking sides in Marvel’s Captain America: Civil War…Have you chosen a side yet? I am so conflicted because I love both Captain America and Iron Man. In honor of its upcoming release and because my family and I love super heroes, I thought it would be fun to make these Marvel’s Captain America: Civil War inspired Skittles Marshmallow Pops! They are Fun and Yummy!!!!
*I was even conflicted on which skittles marshmallow pop to choose, LOL.
Skittles Marshmallow Pops
What you’ll need
- Skittles and/or Sour Skittles
- Marshmallows
- Popsicle sticks
Directions
- Separate the colors you want to use. *In this case, red and yellow
- Place a set of skittles in the grinder or blender to create the Skittles powder
- Skewer a marshmallow
- Dip it in a bowl of water
- Dab the marshmallow on a paper towel
- Coat the marshmallows with the Skittles
Captain America: Hold the marshmallow over the bowl or red skittles powder and use a spoon to sprinkle the ground Skittles over the marshmallow to generously coat it.
Iron Man: Pour both the red and yellow skittles out on a cutting board (to where they touch) and roll the marshmallow in it to create a look of half red and half yellow. Use a spoon to sprinkle the ground Skittles over the marshmallow ends (and any areas not coated enough).
- Prop in a Styrofoam block and let dry.
- Serve & Enjoy!!!
