Safe Haven Movie Review

I am a fan of love movies so when I saw the preview for the film “Safe Haven” I knew I’d be watching it. Ok, Ok, the fact that Josh Duhamel is in the film may have played a factor in my decision (but don’t tell my husband). I knew he wouldn’t be watching that movie with me and I need to pick and choose my battles, so I was going to have to wait until it came out on DVD and it has finally done so! Yay! A big smile came across my face when I received the Safe Haven DVD for review.



My mother-in-law came over this weekend and she had been wanting to watch it as well, so we watched it together. Despite the occasional frequent interruptions from the kids, we enjoyed the movie (especially towards the end of the movie when everything starts coming together and the “action” begins). It’s your typical love story of a boy (Josh Duhamel) who meets a girl (Julianne Hough) but with a twist because the girl has a past that she is trying to escape and the guy is a single father of 2 small children.
