Leanette driving the Kia Niro

San Antonio was a bit colder than this South Florida girl is used to but as I slipped into the Kia Niro for a drive around San Antonio, I was excited. After all, it was a nice day, I was in Kia’s new hybrid crossover and driving through a beautiful city with Ari, a fellow blogger and friend. It was going to be a great day and considering how the week had started, I needed it.

As we made our was through the city, I was able to test out the Kia Niro’s various features like the heated seats that kept me warm, the Harman Kardon Sound System with Clari-Fi technology to jam out to as we drove (safely with 2 hands on the wheel of course) and the sunroof (which you know I had to take a peek out of. ***I don’t suggest you doing it with a thick jacket unless getting stuck is something you like to do, LOL).

Of course the fact that we drove all day and still had 3/4 of our gas tank still full was really what impressed me. Considering how much driving I do in any given week that would be a considerable financial savings. Plus, less stops for gas means less I have to do or worry about in what always seems to be a busy week.

After lunch, I switched driving partners and Amiyrah and I headed back to Hotel Emma (which is quite the beauty) but instead of heading straight there we drove around to check out some more of the city. Looking for various photo opportunities is what bloggers do. 🙂

Getting to drive around San Antonio, Texas in the Kia Niro with friends was quite the experience!

Disclaimer: I was sent on an all-expenses paid trip to San Antonio for the Kia Niro National Press Introduction. However, all opinions are my own. Also, some photos are courtesy of Kia.
