Visiting a fire station is cool. I remember taking my son as a little boy and he had the best time. Can you imagine staying at one for a few days as a child? I am guessing that it would be fun for the kiddos but not as much for the firefighters. Playing With Fire confirms just that.
This film was exactly what I expected from watching the previews. I knew it would have just enough comedy to get us through and it was. We laughed and although frustrating at time, the story line was good. I say frustrating because seeing bratty kids in movies irritates me but it was part of the story line so I made my peace with it.
I loved the casting. Everyone was totally believable as their character, my favorite being Mark (Keegan-Michael Key). He was so funny and definitely a scene stealer…but are you surprised? I am not. He is a funny guy and so is John Leguizamo. I wish they would have done a little more with his character because I know how funny he can be, especially in movies like this.
Is it appropriate for kids? Absolutely! It is definitely geared towards the kiddos. If you are looking for a cute movie to watch with the kiddos or as a family, then you should check out Playing With Fire.
Playing With Fire is in theaters on November 8, 2019.
