Nothing like Disney celebrating Mulan’s 15th Anniversary to make me feel old..LOL. I remember watching Mulan with my cousins when it first came out and loving it, especially the music sequence where they are training. Now, my cousins are all grown up (one of which is having a baby boy in July) and I have children of my own. Actually, it’s pretty nice being able to share a movie I love with my babies, which is why I was happy to have received the Mulan and Mulan II Blu-ray Combo Pack for review.
I of course remembered everything about Mulan, not that I watched it over and over or anything, but I needed to refresh my memory on Mulan 2. Not only that, I was anxious to check out its bonus features that included 11 deleted scenes (7 from Mulan & 4 from Mulan 2), 6 Music Videos (which were so cool), Backstage Disney featurettes & More.
I will also say that getting to meet the Director and his twin brother (the illustrator for Mushu), Tony and Tom Bancroft played a role in my excitement. Especially when they drew each one of us (25 Mommy Bloggers) an original artwork from the movie.
Check out Tom in action as he draws Mushu in the video below
Fun Fact: There is a Hidden Mickey in the scene where Mulan first meets Mushu. When Mushu stomps, the hoves make a Mickey on the ground.
You can order the Mulan and Mulan II Blu-ray Combo Pack on Amazon
Disclosure: I was provided the Mulan and Mulan II Blu-ray Combo Pack in order to facilitate my review. No other form of compensation was received and ALL opinions are my own.

I also love this movie and remember when it came out makes me feel old as dirt.
