Mickey and the Roadster Racers officially hits the tracks (and your homes) this Sunday, January 15th but we got a sneak peak, of what will be a hit show, at The Walt Disney Family Museum. Not only are your kiddos going to enjoy this show but parents will as well (which is a relief given how many times I’ll be watching the same episode). It combines our kiddos favorite characters, safe and fun racing along with stories that will teach our kiddos about friendship, having compassion or even working as a team.

Mickey and the Roadster Racers - Mickey and Donald

Throughout the season, be sure you listen out for some familiar voices: NASCAR stars Jimmie Johnson, Danica Patrick and Jeff Gordon recur as race car drivers Jiminy Johnson, Danni Sue and Gordon Gear, respectively. You’ll also hear Jay Leno as announcer Billy Beagle; Tim Gunn (“Project Runway”) as Robbie Roberts; Gordon Ramsay (“MasterChef”) as Chef Oxley; Hoda Kotb (“The Today Show”) as Mrs. Sweetums; Peter Serafinowicz (“Guardians of the Galaxy”) as Dr. Crutchley; Jane Leeves (“Frasier”) as the Queen of England; Fred Willard (“Best in Show”) as Mr. Doozy; Hector Elizondo (“Last Man Standing”) as Grandpa Beagle; Tony Shalhoub (“Monk”) as Luigi; Kate Micucci (“Garfunkel and Oates”) as Emmy Lou.

After chatting with the executive producers of the show, Mark Seidenberg and Rob Laduca, we got to meet the star of the show…Mickey Mouse!!!
