After a fun evening at Magic Kingdom for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween we headed on over to Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek for a relaxing getaway to celebrate my birthday.

I use the term “relaxing” because we had no intention of doing anything except enjoying the pool, lazy river and water slide. So, we did just that…and it was wonderful!

We don’t normally get the chance to enjoy a hotel’s amenities because we have a ton of other activities planned so it was nice to be able to truly get the most of our stay at the Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek. Especially with our cabana rental.

There was a sale on cabana rentals when we checked in and my hubby and I thought it would motivate us to enjoy the water activities longer. We were right.

We spent the whole day out by the pool and only left to go and have dinner, although we could have easily eaten in one of their 12 restaurants and lounges (but we had a restaurant gift card we used). But we did enjoy lunch in the cabana.

Our room offered a contemporary design, double beds, a 37-inch flat-screen TV and mini fridge. Our room even had a panoramic Disney World view.

If you want to do more than outdoor activities, there is also a game room you and your family can enjoy.

The hotel is also connected to an upscale spa, fitness center and a golf course. There is a business facility and Walt Disney World is nearby, so there’s also a free shuttle to all Disney World theme parks.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at the Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek. My daughter says that it was one of her favorite getaways.
