Men in Black™ 3 is now in theaters!! I actually had the opportunity to watch this film at a private screening last night with my hubby (which worked out perfectly because we wanted to go to the movies to celebrate our 9th wedding anniversary). We were excited about the film because we had seen Men In Black & Men In Black 2 and loved them. No worries if you haven’t seen the previous 2 movies, you wont be lost or confused (even though you would enjoy them).
It is definitely worth watching in the movie theater and I would opt for 3D since there are various scenes in which the effects of 3D are pretty cool. Men in Black™ 3 has a nice combo of action and comedy with the right amount of bromance! The relationship between Agent K & Agent J has always intrigued me because although they are so vastly different they work so well as a team…this movie reveals how deep their relationship really is and sheds some light on why.
Will smith (Agent J) is funny as always and I got a kick out of the celebrities revealed as aliens throughout the film…You should pay close attention to the ones on the screen at their headquarters, some of them make sense….LOL. Josh Brolin does a fantastic job as the younger Agent K (Agent J goes back in time, you can read the synopsis below), he must have really studied Tommy Lee Jones as Agent K because he nailed his mannerism. While there is a softer side to him, you can still see the man he has always been.
As a mom I must say that although aliens are a given (being that their job is dealing with aliens) some of them may be to scary for younger children (my kiddos won’t be watching this anytime soon because my daughter scares way too easily). As I have always said, you know your child best and know what they can handle.
I must also mention that there are a few curse words (the “s” word, dumb***, and da*n).

In Men in Black™ 3, Agents J (Will Smith) and K (Tommy Lee Jones) are back… in time. J has seen some inexplicable things in his 15 years with the Men in Black, but nothing, not even aliens, perplexes him as much as his wry, reticent partner. But when K’s life and the fate of the planet are put at stake, Agent J will have to travel back in time to put things right. J discovers that there are secrets to the universe that K never told him — secrets that will reveal themselves as he teams up with the young Agent K (Josh Brolin) to save his partner, the agency, and the future of humankind.
