When I plan out my party menu, a bean dip is always on my appetizer list because it is always a hit! Not only is it easy to prepare but it is also very tasty…so it’s a win, win!

Instead of the one I typically make, I wanted to spice it up a bit with El Yucateco Black Label Reserve Chile Habanero Hot Sauce and by adding in a few other ingredients.

HOT Cheesy Bean Dip Recipe - TM2S

Ingredients

  • 1 small can of diced tomatoes, drained
  • 1/2 teaspoon El Yucateco Black Label Reserve Chile Habanero Hot Sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 (16-ounce) can pinto beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1 (16-ounce) can fat-free refried beans
  • 1 small can chopped green chiles, drained (optional)
  • 3/4 cup shredded mild cheddar cheese

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 375°
  • Combine pinto beans, refried beans, El Yucateco Black Label Reserve Chile Habanero Hot Sauce, salt, ground cumin, oregano and green chiles in a bowl.
  • Spoon bean mixture into a 1 1/2-quart casserole dish coated with cooking spray.
  • Top with cheese.
  • Bake at 375° for 15 minutes or until cheese is melted.
  • Garnish with diced tomatoes and chopped green chiles

*I suggest you serve this dip with tortilla chips or Cheese Doritos.
