When I plan out my party menu, a bean dip is always on my appetizer list because it is always a hit! Not only is it easy to prepare but it is also very tasty…so it’s a win, win!
Instead of the one I typically make, I wanted to spice it up a bit with El Yucateco Black Label Reserve Chile Habanero Hot Sauce and by adding in a few other ingredients.
So check out this Hot Cheesy Bean Dip Recipe below:
Ingredients
- 1 small can of diced tomatoes, drained
- 1/2 teaspoon El Yucateco Black Label Reserve Chile Habanero Hot Sauce
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 (16-ounce) can pinto beans, rinsed and drained
- 1 (16-ounce) can fat-free refried beans
- 1 small can chopped green chiles, drained (optional)
- 3/4 cup shredded mild cheddar cheese
Directions
- Preheat oven to 375°
- Combine pinto beans, refried beans, El Yucateco Black Label Reserve Chile Habanero Hot Sauce, salt, ground cumin, oregano and green chiles in a bowl.
- Spoon bean mixture into a 1 1/2-quart casserole dish coated with cooking spray.
- Top with cheese.
- Bake at 375° for 15 minutes or until cheese is melted.
- Garnish with diced tomatoes and chopped green chiles
*I suggest you serve this dip with tortilla chips or Cheese Doritos.

I love bean dip and always seem to add liquid smoke to take it over the top. Smokin’ Hot!
I love bean and cheese. I would out this on a burrito shell and it with hot sauce and sour cream.
Yum!
Yum!! This looks delicious, I can’t wait to give it a try. This will be right up there with the seven layer dip, thank you for sharing this recipe.

Ohhh honey you are singing my time with this recipe! Sounds divine ! I pinned it so I wouldn’t loose it. Thanks for posting. I have a recipe that is very close to this one. It has some cream cheese in it. Adds a creamy layer to the flavor but it kinda mellows the spice out too. I too am a nut for a bean dip. You can serve anything with it. So versatile &inexpensive.
Thanks for pinning it! Sour cream, salsa and even ground beef are all great additions to a bean dip
OHHH this is great and right in time for football and hockey to start! Thank you for the share! I will make this for my family but have to make for 8 people. Great treat and snack!

This looks delicious! It seems easy too.
Thanks for the recipe. Its getting that time of year for entertaining for the holidays
We always just buy jarred bean dip, but this sounds so much better. I’m not one for super spicy food, so I’ll have to cut back on the hot sauce a bit.
