While in West Volusia County over Memorial Day weekend, my family and I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express and Suites Orange City.
From the moment you walk in, you can tell that the hotel is well maintained, actually it was recently renovated.
Our room offered 2 comfy beds, a refrigerator, microwave and a desk.
Guests of the hotel also get to enjoy a Free Hot Breakfast. We ate pancakes (they have a really cool pancake making machine), cinnamon rolls, eggs, biscuits and gravy, cereals, yogurts and more.
As for amenities, they have high-speed Internet access, a well-equipped Fitness Center, pool, a mini store with essentials and a 24-hour Business Center. There’s even a mini market with snacks and drinks.
Thankfully, it’s conveniently located off off I-4 (so it made traveling to the various destinations easy).

- Staying at the Holiday Inn Express and Suites Orange City allows you to save money on breakfast which depending on the number of people in your family can’t get quite expensive.
- This hotel is also located near a lot of restaurants and gas stations which helps you avoid driving far to find one.
