It is nice when my family and I travel and we get to stay at a hotel that is so spacious that it feels like an apartment! That is exactly how we felt when we walked into our 2 bedroom suite at the Floridays Resort Orlando this past weekend.

With so much space, the kids had enough room to roam around. At one point my son was in the living room watching a movie on the DVD player and my daughter was in their room watching TV. It was great because there was no arguing over what to watch and it was soooo quiet, which is rare in our home.

Having a 2 bedroom suite also meant that my hubby and I had our own room, so we had privacy. It also meant that we didn’t have to go to bed when the kids did, we could listen to the television at a normal volume (as to not keep them awake or wake them up) or better yet I didn’t have to share a bed with my daughter who takes over the bed when she sleeps.

This suite had a full kitchen with a Keurig machine, washer and dryer, dining area, living room, a balcony overlooking a lake with a fountain and 2 full bathrooms. Actually, our master bath had a whirlpool tub which I didn’t get to enjoy but my kids sure did.

Once we unpacked we put our bathing suits on and headed on over to their main pool where there is a splash area, cold plunge pool, a jacuzzi, grill & bar, access to a game room and a market place that sells Starbucks. In the main pool area you’ll also find a beach area, a game room, palm cafe and patio bar and grill.

The next morning we ordered breakfast from their cafe, ate at the dining room table as a family and then packed up our bags and headed on over to SeaWorld (which was only minutes away from Floridays Resort Orlando). We ended up driving to SeaWorld but they do offer a shuttle service.

I am so glad we stayed at the Floridays Resort Orlando, we were sad we only stayed there for one night.

Disclosure: My family and I were invited to stay at the Floridays Resort Orlando for a night. No other compensation was received. ALL opinions are my own.
