Chatting with Moms of ABC Constance Marie, Marlee Matlin, Holly Marie Combs and Laura Leighton

One thing is to watch them on TV but when you get to meet some of the Moms of ABC and basically hang out with them while sipping on cocktails (Sprite for me) and being served appetizers, it is just way too cool…especially when they are on one of your favorite TV shows.

While I was in LA, I was able to sit down and chat with Constance Marie (“Switched at Birth”), Marlee Matlin (“Switched at Birth”), Holly Marie Combs (“Pretty Little Liars”) and Laura Leighton (“Pretty Little Liars”) and unlike interviews we were talking about life in general. It’s so cool because you quickly realize that they are moms just like us and they were so easy to talk too!

As soon as I walked in, Marlee Matlin was there. Not only is she super sweet but she is so funny!!!!! She was sharing parenting stories that had me cracking up.

A little while later we were joined by Holly Marie Combs who oddly enough I saw earlier that morning while at my hotel on the series finale of Charmed. I of course let her know because I am a nerd like that.

I know Laura Leighton from Melrose Place and she is just as pretty off screen as she is on screen. I can tell that she really loves being a mom.

As I headed on over to take a picture with Holly Marie and Laura, I overheard them jokingly chat about how their daughters on the show have each killed someone…that made me laugh. Both love working on the show and I can imagine that there is never a dull scene.

Last but certainly not least I got to chat with Constance Marie who had arrived a bit late due to traffic but the fact that she endured traffic to come and meet us is one of the many indicators that she is an awesome person. I loved chatting with her about life and the show Switched At Birth.

As if she wasn’t cool enough already, she also snapped a selfie of us and posted it on her Instagram and Twitter.

It was a fun afternoon with some amazing moms!!!!
