I remember being in the Dancing With The Stars audience, watching Alfonso Ribiero dance and rooting him on. I had loved him on The Fresh Prince of Bel Air and I was happy to see him doing so well. He went on to win that season and take home the mirror ball trophy. Go Alfonso!
It was his time on that show that paved the path to him hosting America’s Funniest Home Videos. How awesome is that?! This past week, I had the opportunity to chat with Alfonso about the season finale of America’s Funniest Home Videos, which airs Sunday, 5/22 at 7 p.m.
Here’s what Alfonso had to say…
- America’s Funniest Home Videos is great for the family because there’s something for everyone. It’s the kind of show everyone can enjoy.
- He loves the videos where they just happen to catch something happen funny on video. It happens naturally and unintentionally.
- They have some exciting and new things coming up for next season but that’s still in the planning stages.
- When he’s not working or with the family, you can find him playing golf. He was actually sitting in the parking lot of a golf course while we chatted because he was participating in a charity golf tournament.
