kids smiling

I love seeing my children smile. Their smiles have a way of lighting up the room, lifting me up and melting my heart. The power their smile has over me is amazing!

There are many things that can get my kiddos to smile (a joke, a funny show, family game night, a travel adventure) and while I aim to see their smiles every day, unfortunately that’s not always going to happen. For example, it’s just not going to happen when either of them are sick and who can blame them.

I hate when my children are feeling under the weather. It stinks to see them that way. I’m sure any parent would agree that if we could take their place, we would. But since we can’t, all we can do is hope that it goes away as soon as possible. Then we wait for a sign that they are on the path to recovery, a smile.

Did you know that 89% of moms agree that there is nothing better than seeing their child’s smile after a cold or flu? I am one of those moms.

A smile? You know, that “feel better” smile that means they’re ready to run around again. That “feel better” smile that means they’ll be driving me crazy again before I know it. Whatever their smile means, I just love seeing it.

What does it mean to you as a mom to see your child smile after they have been sick?

Share A Smile and Help A Child Feel Better

I’ve uploaded a photo of my family that makes me smile on the SMILING IT FORWARD™ website, you should do it to. By doing so, you will be joining TYLENOL® by SMILING IT FORWARD™.
