Frozen is a movie the whole family will love, at least my family did anyways!

After having seen the previews for Frozen with the cute snowman and reindeer, I knew I my kids would love it. Needless to say I was they were excited when we were invited to attend a pre-screening of Frozen. We found our seats (after getting my nachos), put our 3D glasses on and enjoyed the short film, Get a Horse, and the movie itself. It was a great night out with my family.
You’re not going to want to miss the short film, Get a Horse. It is cute and the 3D effects are really good!
We really enjoyed watching Frozen, it was engaging right from the start, it made us laugh and made me cry. I can always tell when a movie is really funny when my husband laughs because even if something is funny, he won’t usually laugh (weird huh?) and in this movie he laughed a few times.
In Frozen, fearless optimist Anna (Kristen Bell) sets off on an epic journey to find her sister Elsa (Idina Menzel). Anna teams up with rugged mountain man Kristoff (Jonathan Groff) and his loyal reindeer Sven. Elsa’s icy powers have trapped the kingdom of Arendelle in eternal winter and Anna hopes she will be able to get Elsa to reverse this eternal winter. Encountering Everest-like conditions, mystical trolls and a hilarious snowman named Olaf (Josh Gad), Anna and Kristoff battle the elements in a race to save the kingdom.
For some reason, I find it hard to sum up why I loved the movie…it may be because it was a combination of things: The characters are easy to love, the sound track is pretty awesome (and I am not a fan of musicals), there were surprises, no innuendos (which was a relief), you get caught up in the story right from the start….the list goes on and on.
Make sure you and your family go and see Frozen, it really is a super cute movie everyone in your family will enjoy.
