Having been without a kitchen for the last few weeks, my family and I have had to eat out quite a bit. While it was cool at the beginning, because it meant that I didn’t have to cook, eating at the same restaurants repeatedly got old very quickly. When my family and I were invited to a tasting at BurgerFi, I was relieved because I knew we’d be dining some place different and enjoying some good food. I know because we had been there in the past but hadn’t been in a while (Although I’m not sure why).

We love burgers but not all burgers are made the same…At BurgerFi, the beef comes from natural ranches where the cattle roams free, there are no hidden ingredients and they don’t use microwaves, freezers, or heat lamps. Because of that, they pride themselves on being less of a burger joint and more of a gourmet restaurant. All I know is that the food was good, reasonably priced and we didn’t have to wait a long time to get the food (which can be difficult if you are starving and/or you have kids with you).

Here’s what we dined on…

Breakfast All Day Burger: Angus Burger, American Cheese, Bacon, Maple Syrup, Fried Egg, Hashbrown, Grilled Onions Ketchup. He got it minus the onions.

BurgerFi Burger: Double Angus Burger, lettuce, tomato and BurgerFi Sauce. I ordered mine without the sauce.

They also offer a Vegefi Burger made with a fresh-cut veggie burger, crispy quinoa, white cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomatoe and BurgerFi sauce on a multigrain bun.

We really liked their Cry + Fry because you can get onion rings and their hand-cut fries. Oh and you should definitely get some chili cheese fries, they were good!!!!

While sodas and some alcoholic beverages are available, their shakes are also yummy. They have a variety of flavors (red velvet, vanilla, chocolate, banana, black & white, strawberry, peanut butter and coffee mocha) but I stick with what I love and that is Vanilla. My daughter tried the red velvet. My husband and son opted for sundaes instead of shakes (we were a family divided). You can choose from vanilla, chocolate or swirl with your choice of toppings. They also offer floats made with frozen custard and any real cane sugar soda.

Needless to say we ate good and left with our bellies full.
