Winn-Dixie is hosting an out of this galaxy event on Black Friday in anticipation of the new Star Wars movie, Star Wars: The Last Jedi.
Join the fun from 3-5 p.m. on Friday 11/24/17 at your local Winn-Dixie store located at 11290 State Rd 7 in Davie, FL for an afternoon of Star Wars themed activities, including photo opportunities with Star Wars Stormtroopers, face painting, live music and delicious samples. All attendees dressed in a Star Wars costume will be entered to win one of four $100 Winn-Dixie gift cards. Plus, the first 100 customers will receive a free mystery gift card for the chance to win $5-$500!
In anticipation of the release of the new movie, “Star Wars: The Last Jedi,” (in theaters Dec. 15th), Southeastern Grocers, in partnership with Disney, is taking grocery shopping to a new galaxy!
From Nov. 24 through Jan. 16, there will be a total of 72 Cosmic Shells to collect Throughout the galaxy. These Cosmic Shells are an octagon shaped collectible with different Star Wars characters on the front and certain Cosmic Shells will have a scan code on it that can be used in the VR Goggles Winn Dixie app to experience Virtual Reality clips. While cosmic shell packs are available for purchase for only $1.99, Winn-Dixie customers will actually earn a free pack of two Cosmic Shells with every $20 qualifying purchase. There is also an opportunity to purchase a collector’s album in stores for $3.99, while supplies last.
Plus, Five lucky customers who receive a Golden Cosmic Shell will win an exclusive piece of Star Wars merchandise, such as First Order Special Forces Tie Fighter Helmets and a Darth Vader 40th Anniversary Commemorative Helmet, the most iconic helmet in the Commemorative 40th Anniversary Galactic Empire Helmet Collection in the Star Wars universe.
