As a mom, getting the chance to have “me-time” can prove to be difficult. I often forget what “me-time” means because it doesn’t happen a lot. While I don’t necessarily mind it, there are a few times throughout the week where I know I need a moment or two to decompress by myself. - If you have smaller kids that still take a nap, sneak in “me-time” and make the most of that time either by taking a nap yourself or doing something you really enjoy that will help you relax.
- If you have older kids that can play on their own, you can make use of that time as well.
- Enjoy reading? sneak in some “me-time” reading a book by having quiet time set aside where they can read a book as well.
- One of the ways I have tried to sneak in some me time is in the bathroom, while a majority of the time it proves to be unsuccessful there are those rare occasions that the kids leave me alone.
