I am so grateful for being invited to attend The Lion King Musical. I loved it! As always, all opinions are my own.
The Lion King won our hearts over many, many years ago and its musical has made us fall in love with it all over again. At least it did for my daughter, my mom, my aunt and I when we had the chance to experience it for ourselves at the Arsht Center this past week. It was such a special evening.
Seeing the performers bring this classic to life, from the moment the show begins, is amazing. From birds flying above us to the gracefulness of a cheetah, they do a brilliant job of bringing each of the animals to life.
Between memorizing their lines, belting out some major notes and watching the performers use movement to reflect the animals they represented, I am in awe of these talented performers. At the end of the evening, we also had the chance to meet some of its amazingly, talented cast.
The performers who play Simba!
* A special shout out to Richard Phillips Jr who plays Young Simba…He is uber talented and such a nice young man!
