A few weeks back my family and I were invited to experience Disney Parks and its Resorts as would a Disney Vacation Club Member and I have got to say, it was pretty Amazing!!! Of course, all opinions about this special vacation are my own.
Imagine the magic of Disney topped with lots and lots of Pixie Dust.
It wasn’t just that we were at one of the most magical places, it was that we created so many memories together in a way we had never done while on a Disney vacation.
The Life of a Disney Vacation Club Member
You feel like you are home.
No matter what resort you choose, you will feel at home. We happened to stay at the Copper Creek Villas and Cabins and oh my goodness! We had googled images before arriving and once we were there, we all agreed that the photos do not do it justice. What I loved is that we actually got to enjoy our time there. We baked cookies, sat by the fireplace, played games and enjoyed the hot tub. The kiddos even took baths in our master bathroom (which they never do). Of course, I’ll have a post up soon about the cabins because they merit it.
You have access to exclusive activities.
That’s right. There are exclusive activities Disney Vacation Club members can take part of like…
- A wine and cheese class where you not only get to enjoy various wines and cheeses, you also get to learn about the wines. You learn about texture, flavor and all that technical wine stuff I know nothing about. It was fun and I did learn a few things but had there been a test at the end of the class, I would have failed miserably…LOL.
- Painting with a view at Bay Lake Tower at Disney’s Contemporary Resort. We were able to paint a scene from Disney’s movie, UP. Only accessible to Disney Vacation Club Members, the view from Bay Lake Tower is amazing.
So here is how they turned out…don’t laugh (too hard anyways).
Enjoy Moonlight Magic
Once a month they schedule an evening of Moonlight Magic where only Disney Vacation Club Members are allowed to stay in a particular park. As if that wasn’t enough, you also get meal vouchers, free drinks and FREE ICE CREAM. While were there we were able to enjoy Epcot and with the park being closed off to just members (they give us bands to wear) there were less lines which was really nice. I think I was more excited about the free ice cream than my family was.
Unwind in private lounges, like the one found in Epcot.
Did you know that there is a Disney Vacation Club Member Lounge you can cool off in in Epcot? Not only will it allow you to rest up in the AC, you’ll also be able to recharge your phones, enjoy some drinks and the kiddos can even play video games.
A Unique Experience…every single time.
No matter what resort you decide to stay at or what you decide to do there. All of the things I mentioned above will allow you to enjoy a unique experience every single time.
So as you can imagine, after a few days we didn’t want to come back. Can you blame us? It was truly magical and I know each and every single one of us, walked away richer from the experience and will treasure our time there.
