In our house, Teen Titans Go! is always on at some point during the day. So much so, that there was a point where their “Waffles Song” was playing in my mind like a broken record. I say that because not only do I want to put that song in your head (LOL) but so that you can understand just how much we were looking forward to seeing Teen Titans Go! To The Movies.
Everyone was here at our house for dinner on my daughter’s birthday when I got an email asking if I would be interested in hosting a screening of the movie before it hits theaters this Friday 7/27. Of course I said “yes”! One thing is to watch a movie on the big screen another is to watch it in a theater filled with amazing people you get to do life with (whether in person or through my blog). I was excited, a bit nervous about filling the theater but really excited! The day of the screening arrived and it was so much fun!!! Some would say it was “Funtastsic” (see what I did there?)
We filled up the theater. I was a bit nervous no one would show up, so that was a relief.
Everyone got Teen Titans Go! To The Movies shirts. A big group of us put on our shirts immediately which you can tell from these fun group photos.
We played Teen Titans Trivia. I’ve got to say that we had some true fans in the theater, they answered every question. I tried to stump them but I couldn’t.
Some of the kids did the “Booty Scooty”. They looked so cute doing it but there was one in particular that did an amazing job and he won the prize!
Of course there were some fun photo opps.
Last but not least, we got to watch Teen Titans Go! To The Movies. It was highly entertaining because it had the type of humor you have come to expect and love from the Teen Titans. You could hear the audience laughing throughout the movie, especially my husband (which is not the norm for him). Be prepared that at the end of the film, Robin jokingly tells the kids to ask their parents where babies come from.
Teen Titans Go! To The Movies is officially in theaters this Friday, July 27th! Go and see it on the big screen this weekend. After all, it is the must-see on the BIG screen comedy of the summer. With so many super hero’s on the big screen, your entire family is going to have a blast.
