While it doesn’t come out until November, I was able to get a sneak peek at some of the scenes and hear more about how it was being made by Director Rich Moore, Director/Writer Phil Johnston and Producer Clark Spencer. Getting to experience that made me want to see this movie even more (not sure how that was possible given how excited I am).

  • They started working on this film back in 2014, after they finished Wreck-It Ralph.
  • Yesss is an algorithm that is actually the heart and soul of this film.

Fun fact: Her jacket is made up of thousands of digital optics since she is from the digital world.

  • They went to the One Wilshire Building to do research for the movie because it houses all of the internet connections for North America.
  • Their world is occupied by 2 distinct users (1) Net Users who are the internet versions of users like you and me…so they are basically our avatars (2) Netizens – Full time citizens of the website that work to help the net users.
  • Remember the princess scene we all fell in love with, they got all the original princesses to come back and voice their princess.
  • They think of Wreck-It Ralph is chapter 1 and this second film is about their friendship and its evolution and all that goes along with it.
  • Brian Curless, a famous auctioneer, was flown to California to voice the ebay auctioneer in the film.
