As I take out the frames filled with photos we have taken at Christmas time throughout the years and set them up throughout our home, I can’t help but smile. How could I not when I am reminded of the wonderful (and sometimes frustrating) memories of those photo sessions and those stages of our lives.

Thankfully, the photo sessions have gotten a bit easier, largely because they now understand that if they cooperate it goes by faster. I treasure every single one of these family photos and I am so thankful that taking Christmas portraits is part of our Holiday traditions.
If I am being honest (which you know I always am), looking at this years photos was a bit harder for me because I have become so critical of myself. I am not proud of that but unfortunately that is my truth. If it’s not my belly, it’s the double chin that can appear to be a triple chin if I position my head in the wrong way. The list goes on and on but I try not to let it bother me…too much. I also don’t let it stop me from taking pictures with them because I know that while they don’t appreciate it now, my kiddos will truly appreciate it when they are older.

Without further ado, I present to you my favorite 2019 Christmas Portraits!

Such wonderful Christmas Portraits! You all look so happy and relaxed. I love the ones with the reindeer antlers and Christmas light headbands.
