While I was in LA for the red carpet premiere of Oz The Great and Powerful, we had the chance to stay at the beautiful Langham Huntington Pasadena Hotel, a famed Pasadena landmark since 1907. Situated in Pasadena at the base of the San Gabriel Mountains and only miles away from downtown Los Angeles, the Langham Hotel showcases a Japanese and Horseshoe Gardens, the Picture Bridge, 40 painted murals by Frank Moore (dating back to 1932) and so much more!
I knew this hotel was awesome as soon as I walked in saw a celebrity in the Lobby…oh yeah! I arrived before the check-in time so unfortunately my room wasn’t ready when I got there BUT they did hold on to my luggage for me and I able to get a bite to eat at one of their restaurants while I waited.
Langham Hotel is situated on 23 acres and the hotel itself is so big that I may have gotten a bit turned around a few times. Can you blame me? It has 380 guestrooms that feature Chuan bath amenities, Egyptian cotton linens and robes, marble bathrooms and Wi-Fi access. The rooms are so pretty that I didn’t want to get unpacked.
Time didn’t allow for me to tour the entire property (not that I would have walked 23 acres) but what I was able to see was so classy and even breath taking.
Time did allow for me to eat at 2 of their restaurants (there’s always time for food) and the food was delicious, especially their dessert!
Since I was staying there on Valentine’s Day, the turn down service left me a Valentine’s cookie on my pillow. How sweet!

This place is wonderful. I like the food that you got and the landscape is gorgeous. The pool looks so inviting, and what a nice touch that you got a Valentine’s Cookie on your pillow. What a wonderful place to get to go to!
