Having to shave all the time is quite the hassle but hey, it needs to get done! Shaving is a necessary evil and the thought of having to shave for the rest of my life made me want to do laser hair removal all the more and sooner rather than later. I might as well do it now and not have to worry about shaving ever again.
Before doing anything or making any big decisions, you should be well informed and that is why a consultation is helpful. I wasn’t sure what to expect when I walked into the Fort Lauderdale office of Body Details for my initial consultation but as soon as I walked in I was impressed by how nice the office was.
Thankfully, she explained the entire process to me in a way I could understand it (she even drew me pictures). Apparently, I have a skin type 4 and the wavelength they will be using is made for my skin type which maximizes its effectiveness (Each time I go in, they are killing 15 – 20% of the hair). So the plan is that I will be going in every 10 weeks and it will take about 7 – 9 treatments for me to complete the process on my underarms. I really appreciated the fact that she took the time to explain it all and allowed me to ask questions.
Right after the consultation, I had my 1st session done and it was not what I thought it would be. It was quick, easy and not too painful. I can’t believe I already had one session done and I have already set my 2nd appointment for February. More to come….
