Abby Ryder Fortson is such a cute little girl! If you haven’t yet heard of Abby, you will. I get the feeling we will be seeing a lot more of her! Especially on 7/17 when Ant-Man hits the theaters and you see her in her role as Cassie, the daughter of Paul Rudd (Scott Lang, a.k.a. Ant-Man).
From watching her film and getting to see them in between filming, she worked so well with Paul Rudd (he was amazing with her, so much so that I recall her saying that he was her boyfriend…which I know from having a 6 year old means that she really likes him). They had great chemistry which really lends itself to the importance of parental relationships in this movie. I love how family seems to be an important aspect especially when it comes to a story involving a superhero.
We actually were the first group of people to interview her and considering how cold it was and the fact that she had just walked off the set, I think she did a fantastic job!

Who’s your favorite Disney princess?
Elsa (when she answered everyone in the group said “Awww”.
What’s your favorite part about making a movie?
Acting.
Why do you love acting so much?
Because I get to be all different kinds of people.
Do you like Paul Rudd? Is he fun to work with?
Mm hmm. And he’s actually koo-koo!!
How long have you been acting?
Since I was four years old (She is 6 now).
What did you think when you saw Paul in the Ant-Man suit?

What did you think of that suit on him?
It was actually really cool. I actually got to put on one of his gloves when I was at the Wardrobe.
Is Ant-Man your favorite superhero now?
Yeah. And Black Widow.

Ant-Man Synopsis:

Never heard of Abby Ryder, but I knew Ant-Man had a daughter in the Ant-Man movie, this little girl is sure to get plenty of acting jobs in her future. Her answers are too cute to the questions.
