What do you do when a hurricane is going to potentially head your way? You go to Disney World of course!!!! Well at least that is what my family and I did last week as we made ourselves comfortable at the Grand Floridian and had some Spook-tacular fun as we got to enjoy Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.

I love that no matter how many times you go, each experience is different. But, just to be sure you get the most out of your time there, I wanted to share some ways in which you can make that happen.

10 Ways To Fully Enjoy Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party

***Collect all the candy as you Trick-or-Treat Throughout the Park.

After all, it is FREE and Adults get to do it as well!

Tip: While small candy bags are provided, I had my kids wear drawstring backpacks to hold their candy, that way I didn’t have to carry it and they didn’t complain about holding it

***Feast on all the specialty food available during the event

***Get into the “spirit” of Halloween and dress up.

Adults and Kiddos can dress up. You are actually the odd man out if you aren’t wearing any Halloween apparel.

Ladies dressed in costumes

***Arrive a little earlier that 7pm (when the event officially begins) so that you jump start your time at Magic Kingdom.

***Do the rides you wouldn’t normally do if the lines were longer.

***Ride your favorite rides more than once.

Tip: Consider getting your tickets for dates in early September as the park seemed to be less crowded which allowed us to not wait very long for most rides.

***Go with family and friends.

***Check out the NEW fireworks show, Disney’s Not So Spooky Spectacular.

***Enjoy Mickey’s “Boo-to-You” Halloween Parade.

***Get your family photo or group pic in front of the castle.
