This past Monday evening I had the house all to myself so I decided to lay down and watch another repeat episode of Castle (my new addiction). At one point, I decided to check my email on my phone (it must have been a commercial) and I quickly glanced through my incoming emails when I stumbled upon one that appeared to be from Disney. I didn’t read the entire Subject heading but I did see the word “Invited” so I wasted no time in opening it up (can you blame me?).

Disney Social Media Moms Conference 2014 Invite TM2S

I couldn’t believe it…I had been invited to attend the Disney Social Media Moms Conference again this year but this time in Disneyland. Last year my family and I had the honor of attending the conference at Disney World and it was amazing! We were able to experience Disney World in such a special way and with some amazing people (and with a major stomach bug).

Just to be sure I had read the email correctly, I reread it a few more times. Once I knew I hadn’t misread it, the excitement of it all hit me. I felt like a child who had opened a gift on Christmas morning. Once my hubby and I figured out logistics, I registered. After all, this is an experience of a lifetime and one I get to share with my family. I have been to Disneyland before (most recently in 2012) but that wasn’t with my family so I am super excited about getting to share this with them.

Last years Disney Social Media Moms Conference was incredible! This year, I look forward to learning from their conference sessions and getting to hang out with some awesome bloggers (I believe there will be 200 of us).

We still haven’t told the kids and I’d love to come up with a creative way to do so. Any suggestions?

I’ll keep you posted and of course I’ll be sharing pics through Instagram & Twitter. You can also follow along using #DisneySMMoms

Check out this video with highlights from the 2013 Disney Social Media Moms Conference. I even have a cameo appearance in it. It truly was a magical experience (I wouldn’t expect anything less from Disney) and I am truly honored to have been invited back again this year (the only way to attend is to be invited)!
