If you want to end your week on a good note, you should host a Ladies Princess Party for a fabulous group of Ladies like I did. It was so much fun!!!!! Not only did we channel our inner princess and have a great time but we also learned a lot about one another.

DisneySide Party

If you decided to show off your #DisneySide with a Ladies Princess Party (which I highly suggest), I hope the following ideas help and inspire you.

Decorations

I knew I wanted to incorporate the Disney Princesses while keeping it elegant, since the party was for Ladies and not children. Keeping that in mind, I found a table cloth, napkins and plates (which I didn’t end up buying) that was from the Disney Princess line of party products which were perfect because it was pink and had various princess silohuettes on it. Once I had the table cloth & napkins, I sought out dark and light pink items that would fit the theme.  I also incorporated a lot of pink hearts & flowers.

DisneySide Flower Centerpieces

I used my HP ENVY 5530 e-All-in-One Printer to print out pictures for 5 x 7 photo frames I bought at the Dollar Store. I used the HP photo paper and the picture quality is Amazing!  I added pink hearts to the frames to make it more princess like.

DisneySide Party Frames

I took it one step further and decorated the bathroom in pink (towels, hand soap, hand lotion), I had a pink vase and flowers, one of the Disney Princess Picture Frames and I also added the text “You Are The Fairest One Of Them All” on the mirror in dry erase marker.

Food

I wanted to serve finger foods (not only for cost purposes but I just think it looks classy and it’s much simpler) but then I thought that it would be cool if we had a food item that represented each of the Disney Princess Films AND that it would be fun (and different) if we had the ladies pair the food and the movies as a game.

* Go ahead and give it a shot.

**A special thank you to Susie for helping me brainstorm and for actually making 3 of these items

Drinks

I opted for Pink drinks, so I served Pink Lemonade & Strawberry Soda (I also had water on hand but kept it out of the photos).

Cupcakes

I have a super talented friend, Mindy, who owns a cupcake company (Mindy’s Cupcakes)…not only are her cupcakes DELICIOUS (that frosting is incredible) but they are also so pretty.

Candy Bar

The fact that Valentine’s Day had just passed allowed me to buy pink and white candy for a discounted price. That was perfect because of my pink color scheme. I also bought the glass candy holders at the Dollar Tree.  So it didn’t cost me much to make this happen.

Games

Princess Games for adults was no easy task but we managed to come up with a few and we had fun.

Who’s Your Favorite Princess & Why?

We started by stating which princess was our favorite and why we liked them or identified with them. I honestly came up with this game on the spot and it was by far my favorite game because as people gave their answers, you got to know something about them. Whether it was because of a struggle they overcame, a similar trait, a bond shared, a childhood memory or even mommy & daddy issues – their responses revealed something about them.

Princess Dress Up

Ok, this wasn’t your typical princess dress up.  I separated the Ladies into teams and gave each team a roll of toilet paper and they had to come up with their best princess outfit. I had my hubby and kids be the judge (who at that point had returned home from dinner and were hiding out in our bedroom).

Trivia

My #DisneySide Kit came with Disney trivia questions so we used those but I wish I would have put together trivia questions pertaining to the princesses.

Name that song

At one point I would put on a song and the Ladies (especially 2 Disney Mega Fans) would guess what song it was. These ladies were so good that they would guess with only hearing the beginning melody.

Princess Movie Food

I already mentioned the food game above.  It was pretty interesting to see what they came up with because while some were really easy, there were some that they had to really think about (what the food looked like or the ingredients).

*I suggest not putting out the food until you are ready to do this game. I wanted everything to look pretty when people arrived at 6:30 but some of the guests arrived at about 7 and then we did the Princess game as an intro, then they had to guess the movies. So we were eating at about 7:30 and by then the food was cold.

Party Favors

Who doesn’t love to leave a party with a few goodies right? I put together a small princess box filled with a Princess pen, princess key chain, Covergirl lip gloss, Pantene shampoo, conditioner & comb.

I also gave everyone a pink crown as they arrived that they were able to keep as well.

Photo Booth

I really wanted to have a photo booth and props but I just didn’t have the time to do it and I struggle asking for help.

Have fun!

Our Ladies Princess Party was so much fun that we will actually be doing another one BUT it will be a Disney Villian Party and we want to do it around the time that Malefecent comes out.

If you end up doing a Ladies Princess Party, I’d love to hear how it turned out and any suggestions I can add to this list.
