Last Friday night my hubby went out on a date (can you imagine that?) because we had 2 tickets to go and see Cirque du Soleil’s new show, TOTEM. The whole week we were looking forward to going because my hubby and I had been to another Cirque du Soleil years before and we knew we were in for a real treat. It did not disappoint us…The Cirque du Soleil’s TOTEM is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!!!!!!!
We loved every single moment of it because there was always something going on. It was…
- Entertaining: We were impressed by the level of talent their cast had. Ladies on unicycles flipping bowls on to their heads…with their feet! Hoop Dancers, Incredible Acrobatics, even in the air!
- Funny: The skinny Italian tourist and the quiet guy (who for some reason reminded me of Mr. Bean) had us all cracking up, even before the show began.
- Pleasing on the eyes: The set was so elaborate yet simple (if that makes any sense) and with no disrespect towards my husband, there is even some eye candy for us Ladies (I love you babe!)
- Cozy: The last Cirque du Soleil’s show we attended was at an arena but this time it was in a tent and I loved that circus feel. It surprisingly fits a lot of people and provides everyone a good view of the show. At some points we actually felt like we were a part of the show since they would come into the walkways.
I would definitely recommend you seeing this show because you won’t regret it. Want to buy tickets? If so, click HERE for a special offer for Teach Me 2 Save Readers!

About Cirque du Soleil’s TOTEM:
“Written and directed by Robert Lepage, TOTEM traces the fascinating journey of the human species from its original amphibian state to its ultimate desire to fly. Inspired by many founding myths, TOTEM illustrates, through a visual and acrobatic language, the evolutionary progress of species. Somewhere between science and legend TOTEM explores the ties that bind Man to other species, his dreams and his infinite potential.”
Disclosure: I was provided with 2 tickets to Cirque du Soleil’s TOTEM in order to facilitate my review. However, as always, ALL opinions are 100% my own.

This looks like so much fun. Whenever we can afford to go I’d really like to check this out.
