In my previous post I shared my Disneyland Adventure but in the event that you and your family will be vacation in CA and going to Disneyland, I also wanted to share my Disney California Adventure Park experience with you. Prior to this trip I had never heard of California Adventure before (It’s sad…I know, I know). Apparently it is quite the place to be and it is right across the way from the Disneyland entrance so location is not an issue.

So why is California Adventure so popular? Well for one there are some many different attractions to enjoy, Buena Vista Street (which is set in the 1920’s/30’s and displays a ton of Disney history), Condor Flats, Grizzly Peak, Hollywood Land, Pacific Wharf, Paradise Pier. BUT what really sets this park apart is Cars Land. Yes! So if your kiddos LOVE Cars then this is the place to take them. I feel I must warn you that getting them to leave may be very difficult.

Cars Land makes you feel like you are walking into Radiator Springs! You get to meet some of the characters from the film like the infamous Lightning McQueen & Tow Mater. But wait, There’s more….There are 3 Cars themed attractions for you to experience: Luigi’s Flying Tires, Mater’s Junkyard Jamboree, Radiator Springs Racers.

While I did not have the time to ride Luigi’s Flying Tires & Mater’s Junkyard Jamboree I did get to ride Radiator Springs Racers and I LOVED IT!!!!!!! You get into a car and visit memorable locations from the movie Cars once you have done that, another car pulls up and the race begins. This was my favorite part of the ride (even though we did not win). So every time you ride, you never know which route you will take or if your car will be the one to win. Did I mentioned that I loved it???

Again, I wish my babies were there. When I come back with my hubby and my kiddos I’ll have to ride all of the rides!

Disclosure: I went on this trip as part of a Disney press trip. All of my travel, lodging and meal expenses were covered by them. No other compensation was received. However, all opinions/thoughts are 100% my own.
