Now that Muppets Most Wanted is Finally In Theaters you and your family need to go and see it!

muppets most wanted

While in LA last week, I attended a private screening of Muppets Most Wanted at Walt Disney Studios the day before we interviewed Kermit, Miss Piggy & Constantine (which was awesome and is a must read!) and I also had the chance to see it again at the Muppets Most Wanted Red Carpet Premiere at El Capitan Theater. My kiddos were a tad jealous that I had gotten to see it already so they were thrilled when I took my family to a ore-screening of the film on Wed.

Muppets Most Wanted Screening

If you are doing the math in your head, you know that means that within an 11 days, I saw Muppets Most Wanted 3 times. It’s a good thing I really like the movie. Actually, I have liked it more every time. I enjoy the music more (while trying not to sing along and ruining it for others), laugh more and I notice things I apparently missed the time before.

For some reason sequels tend to not be as good as the first one but in this case I actually liked this movie so much more than the first. Songwriter Bret McKenzie (who I also interviewed…post coming next week) even makes a funny reference to it in the opening song of the movie.

Muppets Most Wanted offers an interesting story line that introduces a new muppet character, Constantine (the world’s most dangerous frog).  While on a grand world tour, The Muppets find themselves wrapped into an European jewel-heist caper headed by a Kermit the Frog look-alike and his dastardly sidekick.  The songs are catchy and the actors did a great job. Of course, seeing the various celebrity cameos is always fun too. All around, Muppets Most Wanted is a movie the whole family will love.

Be sure to watch the movie and come back and let us know what you thought of it.

As I previously mentioned, I had the opportunity to interview Kermit, Miss Piggy and Constantine (which you can read HERE) as well as James Bobin (the director) and Bret McKenzie (the song writer) which will be posted next week.
