What happens when bloggers who are attending a conference get an invite to a game night? They have a fun night filled with laughter and great memories. Oh yeah, it also means there are a ton of pics and videos to remember that night with…after all, they are bloggers.

I had such a fun night while attending the TypeA conference. To think that I almost missed out on all the fun because I was tired. Thankfully, I decided to go because I had the best time playing games.
Once I walked inside the room, I felt like a kid again because there were tables filled with various games to play. That night my blogging buddies I played Hedbanz Act Up and Boom Boom Balloon.
I had never played Hedbanz before and Hedbanz Act Up is basically the same except that you need to act out what’s on the other person’s card. For those of you who have never played this before, here’s how you play: Every person wears a different colored, card holding headband so that you can’t see the card being acted out and so that the other player playing your round with you can. When it is your turn, you role the colored dice to see who you’ll be playing with. The idea is to try and guess as many of the cards as you can before your time runs out. You get a blue chip (point) for every card you guys get correct. The one with the most blue chips wins the game. My favorite part of the game is seeing the players act the cards out. The things people come up with are hilarious!
Once we had had our fill of Hedbanz Act Up we played Boom Boom Balloon. The idea of this game is to move the sticks a certain number of clicks (determined by the number on the dice) without popping the balloon. It’s both fun and nerve wracking at the same time because you are hoping the balloon doesn’t pop. My family and I actually played Boom Boom Balloon recently and they enjoyed it as well.
Be sure to check out Hedbanz Act Up and Boom Boom Balloon at your next game night.
