The United Nations created World Water Day (3/22) to shed a light upon the water issues around the world.  It’s unfortunate that 783 million people (11% of the world’s population) do NOT have safe water to drink and because of this, along with poor sanitation, results in 2,000 children dying every day.

Clean water changes Lives

  • It keeps children Alive
  • Puts food on the table
  • Keeps children learning
  • Reduces the burden on hospitals
  • Saves people’s eyesight
  • Makes childbirth safer
  • Makes chores easier
  • Helps build a more prosperous future

Water is just the beginning of the road out of poverty. Hours spent carrying water can instead be spent with family, tending crops, raising livestock or starting a business.
