I am a photo freak, ask anyone in my family and they will tell you (that and more). Our friends and family actually get a kick out of the fact that my husband can break out into a nice picture quality smile at a moments notice, I think it’s because he realized early on that if he didn’t I would keep having him take the picture over and over again (Now if only my kids understood that). I love capturing my babies and our family on picture, after all my babies are quickly growing up despite my protest (notice how I am still referring to them as my babies even though my daughter is 6 and my son is 4). I want to capture who they are at the various stages in their lives…plus, I am not getting any younger.

While my kiddos take their school pictures and their annual birthday photos, Christmas really is the time of the year that I get us all color coordinated and all prettied up so that we can take our Christmas Portraits.



I love using a photographer that knows my family and understand my craziness (I come with props and ideas) so this year Lorraine, the owner and photographer of TwinsPhotography did our Christmas Portraits. She is such a sweetie, good with kids (she’s a mom so she gets it) and has a good sense of humor, which means she supports and gets my family’s craziness…as you can see from the pic.

I love sending and receiving Christmas cards, so I make our Christmas Pics happen ever year. Actually, I am very proud of myself…for the last 2 years I have sent out cards the same week of Christmas and this year my cards have arrived and are already in their envelopes. For those of you that know me, you know that all of that means the will go out early…LOL.
